What is Faculty of Medicine in Russia?

Medical education in Russia stands out with its clinical training quality recognized worldwide. During the 6-year program, the first three years focus on the basic medical sciences (anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, histology, microbiology). From the fourth year onward, clinical rotations begin and students gain experience with real patients in hospitals. The sixth year is devoted entirely to clinical practice. After graduation, there is the opportunity to specialize in Turkey by taking the TUS examination. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University is Russia's oldest and most prestigious medical university, with full recognition by YÖK (Turkish Council of Higher Education). The medical programs of RUDN and Kazan Federal University are also among the institutions Turkish students can confidently choose with YÖK recognition. Both Russian-taught and English-taught program options are available.

About Faculty of Medicine

Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University, founded in 1758, is Russia's oldest medical university. Alongside Sechenov Medical University, RUDN University and Kazan Federal University also offer YÖK-recognized medical programs.

Clinical rotations begin in the 4th year. Students gain experience with real patients in hospitals. The sixth year is devoted entirely to clinical practice. After graduation, there is the opportunity to specialize in Turkey by taking the TUS examination.

For language preparation, we have our preparatory faculty programs. Both Russian-taught and English-taught medical program options are available. In English-taught programs, no knowledge of Russian is required.
